History of the store

Since 1955, Hamptons has been the Palm Beach’s go-to neighborhood Wine & Spirits shop. Back then, there were no prices posted on the shelves, the owners just knew who you were and priced your spirits and wine “accordingly”. In fact, we still have the rolodex of customers left behind from that era with all the ‘special’ pricing they received. Ask to see it when you come in, we’d be thrilled to share a piece of our shop history with you! Fast forward to today, with computers and the internet, the pricing and systems may have changed, but Hamptons has always been locally owned through the generations. We are only the third owners since 1955!
In 2012, Josh bought the store, left behind a career as an attorney, and pursued his passion for fine Wine & Spirits. A few short years later, he partnered with Judi, who brought extensive expertise in wine distribution, building businesses and a love for yachting. She has been instrumental in growing our yacht, estate, and jet provisioning services.
The team at Hamptons brings an extensive background in business, the Wine & Spirits and hospitality industries. Our team consists of a WSET Level 3 certified sommelier, a former operations director for multiple award winning restaurants in New York City and San Francisco, and a highly enthusiastic, multi-talented, Vespa riding, wine drinking Frenchman. (Be sure to ask for our Bordeaux specialist!)
What we all have in common is a passion for people and excellent hospitality. We enjoy sharing our knowledge, and love learning from our customers about new and exciting brands we may not have heard of yet. Our deeply rooted industry relationships allow us to source just about any products available in Florida, and some worldwide.

We also offer complimentary delivery to Palm Beach and most of West Palm Beach, while shipping is available statewide.
